Hat 3 is composed of Usm Alger (Algeria), Zesco United (Zambia), As Vita Club (Congo Rd) and Al Hilal (Sudan). Finally, Primeiro de Agosto (Angola), Fc Platinium (Zimbabwe), Petro de Luanda (Angola) and Js Kabylie (Algeria) form the last hat.
This 2019-2020 edition is one of the highest in the history of the competition. Indeed, out of the 16 qualified teams, only 5 have never won the African title.
