Is called Karlmann King and, without half measures, it is simply the most expensive suv in the world. If in fact it may seem many more than 190,000 euros for the purchase of a new Aston Martin DBX or the 209,000 needed for a Lamborghini Urus, these figures make people smile compared to 990,000 euros necessary to take this curious vehicle home. It is interesting to note that its price can literally rise up to 3.8 million euros if you had to get too carried away with the optional catalog and accessories.
Karlmann King, 1.6 million Euro armored SUV
This particular vehicle, whose design seems the result of a cross between a Lamborghini Reventòn, a CodaTronca sword and a Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk, is the son of an Italian company, the Vercarmodel Saro of Beinasco, in the province of Turin. The Karlmann King is designed by the eccentric Luciano D'Ambrosio who wanted to create a car in which the bodywork is different depending on the side from which you look at the car: for example on the right side there are two entrance doors, in the left one only one, that of the driver.
The angular lines, if they can immediately bring to mind an aero with characteristics stealth, were designed to give the massive car a sense of movement and dynamism even when stationary. However, the designer confirmed that his points of reference were the diamond, the Lockheed F-35 Lightning II and the batmobile by Christopher Nolan.

However, under the striking and particular body of the Karlmann King, a rather standard architecture is hidden: the mechanical base is in fact that of the Ford F-550 pick-up engine powered by a large V10 turbodiesel Ford Triton from 6.8 liters from 420CV well, enough to bring the car – well weighted 5,896kg, almost six meters long and 2 and a half meters high – up to 220km / h (although some data in the past indicated a maximum speed of 140 km / h). The interiors of this eccentric vehicle are also completely customizable with the possibility of requesting details in gold, crocodile skins, a small minibar and even a safe.
