Aevis Victoria buys Seiler hotels in Zermatt

Thursday, 17.10.2019

In total, Aevis Victoria will now operate six hotels in five locations representing nearly 780 rooms and an estimated 2020 annual turnover of approximately CHF 115 million.

The group of hotels and private clinics Aevis Victoria has acquired the majority of the capital of the hotels of Seiler and Partners in Zermatt, for an amount that has not been published. The consolidated group now operates six hotels at five sites with an estimated turnover of 115 million francs in 2020.

With this new integration, the Friborg company strengthens its hotel division with the addition of the Hotel Mont Cervin Palace – including its walls – and that of Monte Rosa, the seven restaurants of the establishments, as well as other buildings in the surroundings, according to a statement released Thursday.

The average occupancy rate of Seiler hotels is over 70% for a total of 191 rooms.

Both companies expect integration effects in the areas of purchasing, administration, international promotion and financing. (AWP)
