Naples weather alert, high risk schools closed tomorrow 6 November

Orange weather alert also tomorrow 6 November in Naples, there is a high risk that schools will remain closed even on Wednesday. Moreover, in the order signed yesterday by the mayor Luigi De Magistris the possibility was widely feared. By disposing "the closure of the city schools of every order and degree, including the nursery schools, for the day of Tuesday 5 November 2019" the Municipality had reserved, "based on the evolution of the weather forecasts, to arrange for the possible closure also for Wednesday 6 ″.

The current situation is problematic not so much for rain but for wind: rough sea and gusty winds continue to scourge the Gulf. Moreover, for three days there have been recordings of hiccups with the islands. Today the only hydrofoil was able to leave Capri at 6.50am and the only one to arrive at Capri from the Molo Beverello of Naples was the 8.10am race, thus allowing commuters and employees to reach their place of work. The connections with the mainland so far are ensured by the Caremar maxi ferries that connect Naples with the blue island and the motorboats that cover the route to Sorrento.
