Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hoped that Nebraska would serve as a bridge to connect Vietnam to the United States, as well as businesses from both sides, to strengthen bilateral relations.
He also expected the governor to help expand bilateral cooperation not only in agriculture, but also in other sectors such as banking, training, science and technology, health and defense. and security.
For his part, Governor John Pete Ricketts, said that the United States and the State of Nebraska in particular wanted to strengthen relations with Vietnam. He noted that Nebraska has a large number of Vietnamese residents.
Nebraska is strong in agriculture and bilateral cooperation in this area was discussed with Vietnamese ministries and sectors during its visit.
He proposed to both parties to work together to address the challenges and barriers to strengthening trade and investment linkages, while suggesting the organization of an investment promotion conference in Nebraska.
