Although Binational was better at the start of the game, it was Real Garcilaso who hit first because he got up on the scoreboard at 14 minutes through Danilo Carando.
The Argentine striker increased the difference over 33 with a good cross shot, putting Garcilaso 2-0 up. After that goal, Binacional did not know how to react and even the people of Cusco had an option to score the third with a free kick by Alfredo Ramúa that crashed on the crossbar.
However, in the second half the story was different and Binational was very launched into the attack. In the 51st minute, a hand in the Jesus Arismendi area allowed Donald Millán to score a penalty. The Colombian tied just a minute later after a good play.
Binational remained superior and had some options, such as a shot by Andy Polar that Arismendi saved on the line. Garcilaso was again close to the third goal with another free throw from Ramua, but the crossbar again avoided the goal.
In the final minutes Juliaca's were closer to the win but the score no longer moved.
Binational added 8 points in this Clausura and is ninth in the table, while Garcilaso is penultimate with 4 units.
