UDINE – Udinese clearly beat Bologna at home and fly to the round of 16, where they will meet Juventus. Gotti's men win 4-0 in a game dominated against the rossoblus without coach Mihajlovic, who remained at home. Two goals for Friuli in time: Barak and De Maio in the first 45 ', Mandragora and Lasagna in the second half.Yet it is Bologna that starts better, but it is only an illusion. After 24 minutes Udinese takes the lead: Lasagna is very good at anticipating Paz and fleeing towards the opposing area, then he loses the moment to find the end but the onrushing Barak with a precise 15-meter left finds the 1- 0. The doubling comes in the 42nd minute: on the developments of a free kick from the left beaten by Barak, Nuytinck extends his head and the former De Maio with a right-footed shot beats Da Costa.

Bologna tries to run for cover: on the way back from the interval Poli leaves the field to the Dutch Schouten. The rossoblus are immediately dangerous with Orsolini, who with a left from the limit commits Nicolas. At 54 'the outside is still around the national team to scare the Friulian fans, with a powerful shot from outside but extinguished over the crossbar. At 57 'the first change also comes for Udinese: out of Opoku, in Pussetto. The Bologna tries to shorten the distances but it is never really dangerous. Udinese closes well and leaves no space for the Emilians, who try only from distance: Orsolini again tries to surprise Nicolas with a shot per lap at 68 'which ends very far from the goalpost. At the half-hour Pussetto with a powerful and precise conclusion commits Da Costa. A minute passes and Udinese touches the third goal again: Lasagna hits the post with a great left-footed shot after a good chest check. The time is now ripe: on the developments of the action, Mandragora finds the 3-0 with a left-footed shot from the edge of the area, on which Da Costa is not very reactive. Despite the result in the safe, Lasagna's desire for goals has not yet subsided: at 80 ', again with a powerful and precise left footer, he forced Da Costa to the intervention. At two minutes from the 90th minute, Orsolini tries again, but with a right diagonal he can't find the goal. In recovery, Lasagna's goal finally arrives: an unstoppable left-footed shot from the edge and a score set at 4-0. For Gotti's Udinese now there is Sarri's Juventus.
