Carlos Ghosn
he had fallen out of favor last November.
"When (Renault CEO) Thierry Bolloré told me that no one wanted to work with me and that was the reason why I had to leave Renault and that I could not go to work at Nissan, his words could have hurt me, "explained Arnaud Deboeuf in an internal message to employees of Renault-Nissan.
Several Renault-Nissan executives at PSA
The departure of Arnaud Deboeuf is the latest departure of a Renault-Nissan executive to PSA since 2013, when Carlos Tavares, then number two of the diamond group, became number one of the other major automaker French. Other examples illustrate the factual bridges between the two groups. Thierry Koskas, former Renault sales manager, thus became in March senior vice president and director of sales and marketing of PSA.
For its part, the Renault-Nissan Alliance engine boss, Alain Raposo, took the lead last year in PSA engines. As for the current industrial director of PSA, Yann Vincent, on whom Arnaud Deboeuf will depend, he has, in the past, managed the quality of the diamond group and the exploitation at Avtovaz.
Entered Renault in 1993
Reporting directly to Carlos Ghosn since 2015, Arnaud Deboeuf joined Renault in 1993 as an engineer in the engine assembly department. He then joined the manufacturing department. From 2004 to 2007, he was responsible for strategy and cost control for Renault Samsung Motors in South Korea.
Upon his return to France in 2007, he was appointed Deputy Program Director and in 2011, Program Director of Renault's Entry range. In 2010, he joined the Alliance as Project Manager Common Module Family A (CMF-A). In 2012, he was promoted to Director of the Range Entry, before three years later to take the chair of Director of the Alliance.
