USA and Poland join forces
Vice President Mike Pence and Polish President Andrzej Duda met earlier this week to sign a joint agreement and strengthen 5G network security guidelines. Obviously at no time the link with Huawei is made, yet there is no doubt: the United States seeks a little more to exclude the Chinese technology company debates.
In the agreement in question, we can read these words: "We must protect the next generation (5G) communication networks against any disruption or manipulation and above all guarantee the privacy and individual freedoms of United States, Poland and other countries. These guidelines are of vital importance to us.
Huawei is also in the sights of Andrzej Duda
Last June, Huawei claimed that 65% of 5G networks around the world use its technology, and that is what worries Donald Trump and his government. For this reason, the United States would like to withdraw its production of 5G equipment from China, but it is not easy. The White House has refused to comment on what is only rumors, for the moment.
Huawei is also very present in Poland and that's why the country wanted to get behind the Trump administration. In January, the country's authorities arrested Huawei's Chinese worker. The latter was accused of espionage on behalf of the Chinese company. Huawei had preferred to fire his employee to avoid being involved in any case.
