During the beginning of the day the regional currencies reported an increase. At Peruvian market the price of the US currency fell to 0.42%, while so far this year the dollar accumulates a fall of 1.31%.
The overall results are due to the relief of trade war. According to Steven Mnuchin, secretary of the US Treasury, the US government expects substantial progress to reach a good agreement.
Another reason for the continued decline of the dollar would be the recent announcement of the European Central Bank (ECB) of next steps to stimulate the euro.
