The dollar continues to recede by fourth session consecutive. East Thursday 12 of september the exchange rate closed at S / 3,325 at the interbank level, less than the price of the previous session.

During the beginning of the day the regional currencies reported an increase. At Peruvian market the price of the US currency fell to 0.42%, while so far this year the dollar accumulates a fall of 1.31%.

The overall results are due to the relief of trade war. According to Steven Mnuchin, secretary of the US Treasury, the US government expects substantial progress to reach a good agreement.

Another reason for the continued decline of the dollar would be the recent announcement of the European Central Bank (ECB) of next steps to stimulate the euro.
