The year 2019 sign the restyled return of the Ranger. After a first evolution in 2016 and 7 years of good and loyal service, the vehicle has changed grille and front bumper to accentuate the resemblance with his big cousin F150.

With a load of 1 tonne in the bucket and a towable weight of 3.5 t, the Ranger is cut for the job. And for difficult terrain, it has a ground clearance of 237 mm.

Three bodies for two pickups

The new Ranger is available in single cabin (only 130 hp), Supercab (deep cabin) and double cabin. The double cabin is also found on the Ranger Raptor series, bodybuilded version of the Ranger. Two XL and XLT finishes come at the entry level.

Note that the double cabin and Ranger Raptor are in essence passenger cars under the law, therefore subject to the penalty of 10 500 euros and the TVS. Depending on the cabin chosen, the length of the bucket varies from 1,549 m to 2,317 m through 1,847 m. It receives a lift EZ lift lighter for easy handling.

Here in Raptor finish, the bucket can be equipped with an occulting closure to protect the load. The equipment includes numerous lashing rings and several accessories such as skip covers. Ford Photo

The consumption values start at 8 l / 100 km for the 130 hp and reach 9.2 l / 100 km with the highest power. On the 170 and 213 hp engines, it is possible to opt for the 10-speed automatic transmission that saves up to 9% of fuel.
