NEW YORK, Aug. 19 (Reuters) – Oil prices have
ends sharply up on Monday in New York Nymex
following an attack over the weekend on
Saudi oil installations by unmanned aerial drones
rebels Ymnites Houthis.
September contract on light crude oil (West Texas
Intermediate, WTI) earned $ 1.34, or 2.44%,
$ 56.21 a barrel.
Brent took 1.10 dollar (+ 1.88%) 59.74
dollars.
The will of the German and Chinese authorities to take
measures to revive their economy to resist
Global slowdown is also pushing prices up.
The People's Bank of China (BPC) announced Saturday a
reform of its preferential rate of loan (PRT) mechanism and
the German Finance Minister said on Sunday that
