Executives wishing to relocate believe that life in the province would allow them to "experience less stress on a daily basis".

Eight out of ten executives (82%) plan to leave the Ile-de-France and more than half of them would like to settle preferably in Bordeaux, according to a study for the site Cadremploi.fr * published Thursday 29 August. One out of every two Parisians (52%) is "Dissatisfied" its current situation in terms of place of work and residence, according to this survey.

Executives wishing to relocate believe that life in the province would allow them to "experience less stress on a daily basis" (for 72% of those interviewed), "preserve their personal life" (65%), "decrease their charges" (64%), afford "more leisure" (49%) and reduce travel time to work (47%).

However, only 29% of executives in the Ile-de-France region planning to leave "really took steps in this direction", says Cadremploi: 26% "are actively looking for a job" elsewhere and "pass interviews"while 3% requested a transfer to their employer.

Behind Bordeaux, which attracts 54% of managers in Ile-de-France, the cities that attract them most are Nantes (48%), Lyon (34%), Aix-en-Provence or Marseille (28%), ahead Toulouse and Rennes tie (27%).

* Survey conducted in July via an online self-administered questionnaire, to which 1,302 people responded, according to the website Cadremploi.fr.
