Nine people, including three minors, were arrested after ravaging a rented house on the rental platform. The owner thought to house a young couple.
A real carnage, for an amount of about 80,000 Canadian dollars, or 55,000 euros. A house in the city of London, Ontario, rented on Airbnb, was completely devastated after a student party that escalated, reports Radio Canada.
The facts occurred on June 27th. The owner of the four-bedroom house that can accommodate up to eight people, who regularly uses the US rental platform for a year, thought yet accommodate a couple in their twenties.

Instead, about fifty partygoers arrived at this property to celebrate the end of their academic year and obtain their diplomas, while the announcement posted on Airbnb had for mention: "please do not do the Party".
Broken windows and mirrors
The damage is impressive. "There were holes in many rooms, broken windows, lots of broken glass, shattered mirrors and everything in the drawers was taken and thrown on the walls," says the owner of the house quoted by Radio Canada Ontario.
The latter quickly went to the scene. It must be said that the party had been stopped by the local authorities, alerted by several calls from the neighborhood. According to the owner, two months were needed to determine the extent of the damage. Part of the costs will be borne by Airbnb, he said.

Nine youths were arrested by the police, six aged 18 and three underage teenagers. They will have to pay 5000 Canadian dollars each, or about 3400 euros, for the damages and the damages, specifies West France.
