Egyptian President Abdul-Fattah al-Sisi met with the UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on Thursday to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues.

The meeting between the Egyptian President and the Vice-President of the UAE took place on the sidelines of the "Belt and Road" initiative in Beijing to revive the Silk Road and re-link China to the world through the ancient ways of trade. China is willing to maintain export markets and open new export markets. This initiative is gradually turning into trade alliances that consolidate China's commercial status.

On the other hand, the Vice President of the UAE congratulated the Egyptian President and the Egyptian people on the success of the referendum process on the Constitution and the high participation rate of all segments of the people.
