Past star Ronaldinho was caught (Wednesday) by law enforcement agencies in Paraguay trying to enter the country through a passport and fake documents. The Brazilian star arrived in the neighboring country on Wednesday for a charity event, so police arrived at his hotel room and asked to check his documents.
The Barcelona and Milan player had previously been banned from leaving Brazil, as was his brother, because they were caught in construction offenses and fined about € 2 million which they cannot pay, and their passports were confiscated. Ronaldinho and his brother are now being supervised in their hotel room where local police are being watched over. The two will be taken to the prosecutor’s office today. Another person he was with was arrested.

“The two are not under arrest, but they are under surveillance and will have to testify. Then it will be decided whether they will be arrested or not,” said Yoslides Assevado, Minister of Public Security in Paraguay. Assebedo added that the two were misled by the third man, who was arrested.
