STM has announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire the majority stake in Exagan, a French innovator in gallium nitride.
The Italian-French group has specified that the terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. The agreement signed also provides for the acquisition of the remaining minority stake in Exagan by STM 24 months after the closing of the acquisition of the majority stake. The transaction will be financed with available liquidity.
