Police have arrested a number of suspects in recent hours for violating public order and endangering human lives, after they allegedly turned on fireworks, threw burning tires on the road, damaged the car and even attacked police.
The police said that the suspects were brought to the police station for questioning, and that so far – from the beginning of Purim, the police have arrested 38 violators.
Some of the detainees are suspected of involvement in the riots that resulted in the injuries of 6 police officers, who had to be evacuated to the hospital, when their condition is mild.

What caused the riots this year after a few years of relative quiet? The Sabbath Square learned that behind the scenes, it appears that the increase in crime in the city on Purim holiday did not occur, and that the coordinators responsible for the youth, who announced the youth, were expected to return to the streets and carry out the riots.
Their warning came as a result of the Bnei Brak municipality’s decision to hold these events this year in the settlement of Tirat Yehuda, far from the city of Bnei Brak.
The coordinators said the youth refuses to leave Bnei Brak to a remote community and threaten to stay in the city, causing the riot, “That’s what happened,” one of the coordinators tells us. “The youth did not cooperate with the party and remained in town.”
Police spokesmen said that “the police will continue to enforce the law and order against those who improved it and endanger the residents of the city. Investigations of the events will continue and further arrests may be made.”
