After the investiture of the League leaders Armanini said: “I am there if you are there. I can assure my utmost commitment, because our beautiful city is in dire need of change and replacement of a political class focused on its own interests, but not on those of the citizens of Merano “. So a candidacy that intends to break with the Sudtiroler Volkspartei, contrary to an alliance with the League in Merano. Armanini had replied to the candidate Richard Stampfl: “Mr. Stampfl has not yet realized that it will be the citizens who decide with the vote will have the opportunity to send home this disastrous junta.”
