Egypt, Zaky transferred to prison for political prisoners. His case in the hands of security

Patrick George Zaky he was transferred to Cairo, in the Tora prison, the most notorious in Egypt, which also houses the cases of political prisoners. His family found out this morning by going to visit him. The sister and parents were told that the boy was brought to Cairo in the early hours of the morning, but her lawyers have so far failed to verify in which area of Tora Patrick he has been assigned. A detail that marks a big difference: if Patrick is in the section reserved for political prisoners, political is his case and would therefore be treated by national security agencies.

It will probably take a couple of days to determine where the boy is. The new hearing on his case, scheduled for Saturday, will most likely be moved to Sunday. Patrick, 28 years old, student of the University of Bologna, was stopped on February 8 in Cairo on his return from Italy. He is accused of having disseminated information harmful to the Egyptian state through his Facebook page. The boy denies all the charges.
