Youth and Sports Minister Muharrem Kasapoğlu, TFF President Nihat Özdemir and club heads participated in the video conference meeting, stating that the leagues will start in June.

Speaking to DHA, Yardim said that starting from the second week of June, leagues will continue without spectators and displacement, and that the UEFA will make its final decision on May 27 for the Champions League Final in Istanbul.

Saying that UEFA thinks that normalization is felt in Europe, Yardim said: “UEFA thinks that especially major leagues can be played in early June, or even earlier in Germany. Playing local leagues in June and July, playing Champions League and Europa League matches at the same time. The second alternative, UEFA, will finish local leagues in June and July and will organize its own championships in August.
