It is with a promo recently launched by Mediaset than the conductor note Maria De Filippi announced to the public the arrival of the four episodes of Special friends which presumably will air on May 18 with a different formula than the one originally designed so as to adapt it to the situation we are experiencing due to the Coronavirus.
During the press conference presenting the Evening of Friends of Maria De Filippi, the presenter had communicated that following the six episodes of the Evening there would have been three more, All Star friends, starring former competitors of the talent and not, in order to decree the winner. With the epidemiological emergency from Covid-19, however, many television programs have suffered a setback and among them also the new format which, as reported by TV Sorrisi e Canzoni, would have started in May.
It was then the same De Filippi that guest in April of the radio program Misery and nobility of RTL 102.5 to have announced that he wants to continue the project of Special friends (no longer then All Star friends).
With this Coronavirus, even if there will be, it will not be a kind of All Star friends, which we would have expected and wanted to do. It will not be exactly as it was thought and it will be safe not before mid-May. This thing then changed everything and, where there was, I hope there is, the thought is to do something also for the emergency we are experiencing.
To officially confirm the version celebrity of the talent in partnership with Tim the promo has taken care of that on the notes of Along the way of Claudio Baglioni reads this:

Meanwhile the cast it would be taking shape and the names for singing appear Alberto Urso, Giordana Angi, Enrico Nigiotti, Michele Bravi and the current winner of Friends 19 Gaia Gozzi. While for the dance: Javier and Nicolai (dancers from this edition of Friends), Gabriele Esposito, Andreas Muller, Sebastian Melo Taveira, Vincenzo Di Primo is Alessio Gaudino.
