There are 8,358 registered cases of coronavirus in Veneto, 392 deaths. To give the emergency numbers, in one of the most affected areas of Italy, is the Region’s bulletin on Sunday 29 March. Compared to Saturday, the positives are 258 more and the dead 14 (UPDATES – SPECIAL – MAP AND CONTACT CHARTS IN ITALY – SYMBOL PHOTO).
Most of the new cases in Verona
In Veneto, again according to the Region’s bulletin, there are 20,064 people in home isolation, while the ICU patients are 355 (six more than the day before). As for the new cases, most have registered in Verona: 86. Then there is Padua with 58, Treviso with 39, Venice and Vicenza with 36.
240 thousand masks arrived
Meanwhile, 240 thousand masks have arrived in the region to be donated to health personnel. The 140 packages arrived from Fiumicino to Venice on board an aircraft of the finance guard.
