An entire ward of 38 staff at Fourier Hospital was admitted to home isolation after it was discovered that one of the doctors in the ward was in Corona. This is the orthopedic ward in the hospital, and following the complete isolation, the ward will close to accept new patients. Patients already in the ward will be treated by another team.

This is not the first case that entire wards and staff are being sent for isolation following contact with a patient: Wolfson Hospital closed an internal ward yesterday – and the entire staff also went into isolation after it was discovered that two patients who had been hospitalized were in Corona. Last week, 25 doctors and 60 nurses from the hospital in Sheba, including the ER, were sent for isolation after one of the doctors in the department contracted a corona from a person returning from abroad.

Also in Ichilov, the entire urology department was disabled, and 40 staff members were sent to isolation after one of the doctors contracted them in Corona. In the Rambam, nine staff members were sent to the hospital for isolation on Saturday night after it was revealed that a person had suffered from a trauma and minor injury. Among the nine sent to isolation: a doctor, four brothers and sisters, two X-ray technicians and two transport personnel, similar cases also occurred in Kaplan, Hadassah, community clinics and other hospitals.
