(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 23 – The public newco arrives for Alitalia
which will depart with a fleet of 25-30 aircraft (a quarter of that
current, which is 113 aircraft), or the planes that are
flying in this moment of emergency Covid-19. It is what it is
it was illustrated to the unions, according to what is learned, in
course of the video call that took place this morning. It is not
talked about a plan for the company’s future development,
sources said, while for the establishment of the newco è
been indicated that it will take a few months.
Tomorrow there will also be a meeting between Alitalia and trade unions
and Ministry of Labor to reach a possible agreement
on the new cigs procedure requested by the company. The company has
asked to extend the cash until October 31 for 3,960
employees, of which 2,785 only for the coronavirus emergency. Already
in the meeting of 17 March the company had not excluded a
increase in these numbers: according to what leaks, it could
ask for another two thousand more, bringing the total to almost 6
thousand.
