Musk announced that he is ready to send respiratory equipment, which is already in the hands of his company, to hospitals without charge. “My only wish is that these devices should not be removed from the storages and used”, said Musk.
Ukraine was the first country to respond to Musk’s offer. In the post on the official Twitter account of the Ukrainian Washinton embassy, it was underlined that Ukraine needs respiratory equipment and that Musk is ready to cooperate to deliver the devices to the country.
Musk, who recently sent 1000 respirators to the state of California as part of the fight against corona virus, announced that Tesla’s factory in New York state, Buffalo, will be opened as soon as possible to produce respirators.
“Our factory in New York will be re-opened as soon as possible to produce respirators. We will do everything we can to help everyone living in New York,” Musk shared in his message on his Twitter account.
