LAST MINUTE: Turkey’s population was apparent (at least in Tunceli population)

According to Turkey’s Address Based Population Registration System results 2019 population it became clear.

The population increased by 1 million 151 thousand 115 people compared to the previous year and reached 83 million 154 thousand 997 people.

While the annual population growth rate was 14.7 per thousand in 2018, it was 13.9 per thousand in 2019.

40% OF THE INCREASE IN ISTANBUL

The population of Istanbul increased by 451 thousand 543 people and reached 15 million 519 thousand 267 people. Percent of the residence of the Istanbul of 18,66’s Turkey’s population, Ankara with 5 million 639 thousand 76 people, 4 million 367 thousand 251 people in Izmir, 3 million 56 thousand 120 people watched Bursa and Antalya with 2 million 511 thousand 700 people .

THE MOST YOUNG ŞANLIURFA

When looking at the distribution of the median age by province, it was seen that Sinop had the highest median age value with 40.8. Sinop was followed by Balıkesir with 40.2 and Giresun with 39.9. On the other hand, with 20.1, Şanlıurfa became the province with the lowest median age. Şanlıurfa was followed by Şırnak with 20.9 and Ağrı with 21.8.

Median age has risen

The median age is 32 in Turkey in 2018, it rose to 32.4 in 2019. When analyzed by gender, the median age increased from 31.4 to 31.7 in men and from 32.7 to 33.1 in women.

AT LEAST POPULATION IN TUNCELI

Tunceli became the province with the least population with 84 thousand 660 people. Tunceli was followed by Bayburt with 84 thousand 843 people, Ardahan with 97 thousand 319 people, Kilis with 142 thousand 490 people and Gümüşhane with 164 thousand 521 people.

MEN-WOMEN RATE

While the male population was 41 million 721 thousand 136 people, the female population was 41 million 433 thousand 861 people. In other words, 50.2% of the total population is men and 49.8% is women.
