Petrachi acquitted by the FIGC, investigation closed

The former DS was acquitted of the charge of violating the principles of loyalty, fairness and probity in relation to the period in which, still under contract with Turin, he would have worked for Rome. The FIGC prosecutor has filed the file on the former DS grenade. As regards the Giallorossi club, strict liability has expired. Here’s how Petrachi reacted to the news, which at Ansa said: “I welcome this decision with great serenity, the same one I had when they informed me of the opening of the proceedings. I knew I had not violated any rules and I was aware that I had always followed a respectful conduct and in compliance with federal regulations“.

Petrachi: “I thank Roma who supported me”

The ex ds granata went on like this: “Even when I read and saw on some media that I would receive a disqualification, I never replied, leaving it to my attorney to represent and defend myself in an appropriate venue. I immediately made myself available to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office and I demonstrated my absolute estrangement from any charge. I thank Roma who supported me for the duration of this long procedure and the lawyers who assisted me, demonstrating the correctness of all my behavior“.
