Golani Brigade recruits resumed their inauguration campaign at the Western Wall in Jerusalem on Thursday morning, just hours after 12 of their members were wounded in an overdrive attack near the station complex.
The details of the attack indicate that the soldiers were walking on the sidewalk when the vehicle hit them from behind. Some tried to put cartridges into their weapons, but did not fire the terrorist.
In the afternoon, a minor wounded in an attack on the Old City of Jerusalem, another Border Patrol fighter. The terrorist was shot and neutralized at the scene and the fighter turned to the hospital for treatment.
Police said the terrorist approached police stationed near the lion’s gate and fired at them. After one of the fighters was wounded, more police fired at the terrorist and neutralized him.
