Tosca is the first of the Scala ever to be seen on TV: last night the live broadcast on Rai1, curated by Rai Cultura, was seen by an average of 2 million 850 thousand spectators with a 15% share. About eight hundred thousand more than Verdi's Attila last year and also Madama Butterfly (record so far) three years ago which was seen by 2 million 644 thousand people. Also the presentation of the work before the beginning made a respectable result with 1 million 947 thousand spectators and a share of 14.2%, more than the previous program.
