WSBK | Test Aragon, Day 1: Redding chases Rea – Moto

With the first day on the track at the MotorLand of Aragon the winter tests of the Superbike world championship officially open, which will see the team's drivers involved in the development of the series derived from the series that will take part in the next championship. The ‘Cannibale’ Jonathan Rea immediately began to dictate the pace, signing the best time of today's session (1’50.416), breaking the Ducati Scott rookie by about four tenths of a second Redding, 2019 champion of the British Superbike in his championship debut.

Fourth best time for team-mate Chaz Davies, preceded by the Pata Yamaha team's Michael van der Mark. The test with the Kawasaki KRT of the 2018 WorldSSP300 champion Ana Carrasco was postponed due to the rain. The centaurs will face the final day of testing tomorrow, before returning to the test sessions scheduled in two weeks at Jerez.
