Tesla "invades Europe: factory in Berlin

Indeed, on our continent the market for Tesla is a real surprise, in fact sales in the first nine months of this year were positive, in contrast with the negative situation that all the other brands are experiencing instead.

It was Elon Musk himself who announced the choice of Berlin as a European city where the new Gigafactory will be built. The managing director of the company leader in the field of electric and high-tech cars, on the occasion of the withdrawal of the ‘The Golden Wheel’ award in Germany, gave the great announcement.

For Elon Musk it is about fourth largest global factory, the Gigafactory 4. The others are one in Nevada, the one that produces the batteries, one is instead a Buffalo, in the state of New York, and is in charge of recharging technologies, soon it will probably also build solar panels for the roofs of the brand's electric cars. The Gigafactory number 3 of Tesla instead is the one just inaugurated and that is dedicated to the production of cars, in particular the notes Model 3, is located at Shanghai.

The Model 3 is the company's first mass-produced car and Elon Musk intends to start production in the new European factory in Berlin. In the future it will also be produced the new Tesla Model Y crossover, car that will be ready as early as next summer. The words of Tesla's managing director on his decision to include the new European Gigafactory in Berlin were the following: “Everyone knows that German engineering is exceptional. This is part of why we decided to create the European Gigafactory in Germany. We will also give life to a design and design center in Berlin, since this city is among the places with the best art in the world ”.
