Shoot during the robbery: a bandit killed, the owner serious

A robbery in a tobacco bar in Via Antonio Cimarra, Rome, in the Cinecitta area, resulted in a dramatic shooting. Tragic the budget: one of the bandits died, while the owner was seriously injured.

According to a first reconstruction of what happened, two robbers broke into the shop around 7 pm, armed with a pistol and their faces covered.

Armato was, however, also the owner, who resisted.

The result was a scuffle during which at least three shots started. One has reached one of the criminals, an Italian 69-year-old, already known to the police, without leaving him a chance. The holder, a 63-year-old of Chinese origin, struck in the leg and side, was instead taken to the Policlinico Umberto I, where he is still hospitalized, in red code.

On the spot Police, carabinieri and also forensics men who started the investigation.

The agents managed to stop the second robber, a 58-year-old Italian, also brought to the police station for interrogation.
