RULES FOR ALL VEHICLES – In May 2018, on the initiative of the European Commission, the process for the introduction of new regulations aimed at increasing the number began safety of future vehicles sold on the European market. That procedure has come to an end in recent days, when the European Council has defined the regulation that will apply in 30 months: from the middle of the 2022in other words, newly approved cars, vans, trucks and buses will have to adopt new safety systems or driving aids. WHICH SYSTEMS – The devices mandatory for all vehicles are: intelligent speed adaptation, more precise monitoring of tire pressure, data recording in the event of an accident, driver warning in the event of drowsiness and distraction, greater safety in reverse, reporting more clear of emergency braking and monitoring of blood alcohol levels. In addition, the Automobiles and the vans will also have as standard the automatic emergency braking, the maintenance of the driving lane and systems to reduce the physical consequences of pedestrians and cyclists in case of investment. For trucks and buses systems are also provided to improve the direct vision of the drivers, in order to eliminate the "blind spots" (ie what is not covered by the rear-view mirrors), and devices on the front and side of the vehicle that allow to identify and signal the presence of pedestrians or cyclists in the street.
