Renault and Ford at the center of a scandal for more than 400,000 defective cars

Notoriously recognized as two of the most famous and internationally accredited car manufacturers Ford is Renault have been invested in the last few weeks by one scandal for having mounted, on over 400,000 vehicles, gods defective parts.

To reveal the whole, the French monthly Que Choisir, who collected the witnesses and the reports of numerous motorists extremely annoyed – if not furious – because of the regrettable situation in which they found themselves. It is not in fact any pieces, but of pieces of vital importance for the correct functioning of the car.

In the case of Ford, in fact, it would be defective batteries, and the models affected by this manufacturing defect would be predominantly Ford Mondeo is Ford S-Max.

Regarding Renault, instead, the problem would seem even more serious as it relates to engine.

The French automaker would indeed have produced and unknowingly mounted 1.2 gasoline engines plagued with excessive oil consumption. The danger that these vehicles may present irreparable failures (if not even put at risk the safety driver and passenger) is very high, so as to induce customers to claim everything from the production company.

The most worrying aspect, however, concerns the Renault does not wish to replace the defective parts, which therefore should be borne by consumers.
