Red Dead Redemption 2 has been on PC for almost a week. What are the requirements to play it at 60 FPS? Digital Foundry tells us.
Being a fairly complex game, not all PCs can handle it at the highest quality. But what are the requirements to reach 60 FPS, a must for every PC player? The answer comes directly from Digital Foundry which proposed the results of its analysis in the video that you see below.
As you could see, with a processor Intel Core i7 8700K and a video card of your choice between one NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or an AMD Radeon RX 580 it is possible to reach 60 FPS at a 1080p resolution, with a visual quality similar to that obtainable with PS4 and Xbox One. Of course, you have to play a bit with the settings, with some low and medium, but with these components you play like on console but at twice the frame rate.
We remind you that Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PC (via Rockstar Games Launcher and Epic Games Store, in December also on Steam), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Furthermore, starting November 19, 2019 it will be available on Google Stadia: however, we will have to keep in mind that the Mountain View giant will send out access codes and hardware (Chromecast Ultra and Stadia Controller) before we can launch on cloud-based western adventures. Tell us, have you already played with Red Dead Redemption 2? Which version are you most interested in?
Red Dead Redemption 2 has long been available on consoles too: you can buy your copy at a great price on Amazon, precisely at this address.
