"Queen Elizabeth had a ritual done to ward off the ghost of Lady Diana"

A priest has performed a ritual to remove what is referred to as the "Ghost of Lady Diana"From one of the rooms of the winter residence of the Queen Elizabeth to Sandringham, the one where the Sovereign always spends Christmas. To reveal it is a note written by Kenneth Rose, expert writer of the royal family who died in 2014, in one of his diaries made public now by Daily Mail. Among the various notes collected by the journalist in his notebooks – those published now go from 1985 to 2005 – there is indeed a dated one 2 January 2001 in which he tells precisely this curious episode that was reported to him by Lady Prue Penn, the lady of honor of the Queen Mother, which was still alive at the time.

"Lady Prue told me – reads Kenneth Rose's diary – that in Sandringham in the summer, the Queen had invited her to participate in a small service conducted by the local parish priest in one of her rooms after that some of his servants complained that one of the rooms in the residence was haunted and they didn't want to work on it". To attend the rite there was only the lady-in-waiting of the Queen Mother, the latter and Queen Elizabeth II, in addition to the priest who had called: "The parish priest walked from room to room and really felt a sort of restlessness in one of these – says Kenneth Rose -. This was a room on the ground floor that the Queen Mother had explained to have been transformed into the bedroom of King George VI during his last months before his death in 1952. Then the parish priest had performed a ritual there, not exactly an exorcism, which it is driven by an evil spirit, but a ritual to bring tranquility ".

"The trio, after the ritual, had taken Holy Communion and had been given special prayers, I think for the rest of the king's soul in the room where he died. The pastor then said that the oppressive and disturbing atmosphere could have been due to Princess Diana: similar things happened when someone died of violent death"Concludes Rose, who in his diaries reveals many unpublished anecdotes about the royal family, to which he was very close.
