Around 6 am on a Monday morning a train derailed because of a landslide in Val Pusteria, near Rio Pusteria, in the province of Bolzano. The train had departed from Fortezza and was directed to Brunico but derailed after being hit by a landslide of earth and stones. No one was injured in the accident. In Val Pusteria there have been major inconveniences due to bad weather for days and at the moment all road accesses to the valley are blocked for safety reasons.
