The Regional Council of Lombardy rejected with 42 No and 30 Yes the proposal of the Pd to establish a special council commission "for the contrast to the phenomena of intolerance, racism, anti-Semitism and instigation to hatred and violence" on the model of that approved in Senate on the proposal of the life senator Liliana Segre. Opposite Lega, Forza Italia, Brothers of Italy, the Misto group and the other members of the center-right, favorable Pd, M5S and the other opposition councilors.

The request was inserted at the suggestion of the Pd councilor Pietro Bussolati between the points of the urgent motion presented by Monica Forte of the 5 Star Movement, which was voted for in separate parts. The other points were approved by all political forces except Fratelli d’Italia and Viviana Beccalossi of the Misto Group, but with some changes requested by the majority. In summary, the final text voted by the House commits the regional council to invite Senator Segre to an institutional visit to the Regional Council, "with the hope – added by Forza Italia – that this visit will take place on a date close to the day of remembrance" . Furthermore, to "demonstrate to Liliana Segre the esteem and profound solidarity for the ignoble attacks of which it has been the object and our profound respect for its personal history on which no form of denial or underestimation is tolerable".

Finally, at the request of the League, in the premises a reference was made to condemn the disputes suffered by the Jewish Brigade during the procession on April 25 in Milan.
