Landslides and flooding in the Imperia area, after the storm the damage is counted

Due to the rains, a landslide also occurred in Via Duca D'Aosta, a road that leads to the hamlet of Poggio. Traffic has been diverted to alternative routes. Bad surprises also for the sports associations that operate in the flower market where the area of ​​the gyms has suffered the effects of some infiltration coming from the roof.

Some maintenance deficits and absent cleaning of the drainage ducts have led to problems even in the lower Gozo street where, due to the debris, two scooter riders have slipped to the ground, fortunately without suffering serious injuries. To complicate matters the recent works that have left a rough road surface.

In the border town, via San Secondo is still flooded. In action, the pump-changers of the 115 entered. Three cars in Via Marco Celio Rufo, also in Ventimiglia, were half-destroyed from a large tree crashed on the road.

In Diano Marina considerable inconveniences for some garage owners who, when they woke up, found them attached due to the blockage of the lifting pump. In the town the municipal police, under the coordination of the deputy commander Franco Mistretta, is monitoring the situation and managing the traffic that in some ways is strongly limited by the presence of water.
