The tenth generation of Honda Civic was launched in 2015 and, after 4 years on the market, the Tokyo House is preparing to renew the sedan with a slight restyling and updates for the interiors. Let's find out how it changes for 2020.

Look renewed

The aesthetic updates are very "soft" and concern the frontal area: the side air intakes have a different weft, which binds better to that of the main grid, and now LED headlights are standard on all the preparations. The entry-level earns 16 "wheels, while on the other versions come new 17" Shark Gray wheels. The latest aesthetic innovation concerns coloring: from 2020 the Obsidian Blue comes into the Civic range.

Interiors and engines

The interior has also undergone a small touch for 2020: new interior panels debut to create a more refined and welcoming environment and, on the high-end versions, there is a seat with an electric guide adjustable to eight positions. The Civic m.y. 2020 also has the infotainment system updated with the possibility of connecting your smartphonand with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Furthermore, the controls for managing connectivity and air conditioning are physical, at the request of customers.

There are no news, however, on the engines: available with CVT or 6-speed manual gearbox, the 1.0-liter VTEC Turbo unit with 126 hp and 200 Nm of torque remains, the 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo with 182 hp and 240 Nm and the 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel engine with 120 CV and 300 Nm.

The Honda Civic 2020 will be available at dealerships starting in January.
