ARRIVAL ORDER OF GP VALENCIA 2019 MOTOGP
14.47 Thank you for joining us, but stay on OA Sport: you will find news, order of arrival, report cards, rankings, declarations, videos, analysis, in-depth analysis and much more! A sporting greeting!
14.46 Friends, the MotoGP World Championship is over, but on 19-20 November the first Tests will take place in Valencia towards the 2020 season! We look forward to seeing you on OA Sport!
14.45 Still postponed the appointment with the victory for Fabio Quartararo. The French, in our opinion, remains the only and credible anti-Marquez with a view to the future.
14.44 19 races played in the season by Marquez: 12 won them, in 6 he finished second, in one he retired. Need we add more?
14.43 A day to forget for the official Yamaha cars. Sesto Vinales, eighth Valentino Rossi, the latter with a final 23 seconds gap! There will be plenty to work in the winter. Jorge Lorenzo greets sadly
14.43 Andrea Iannone fell right on the last lap, he was ninth! What a wasted opportunity!
14.43 Honda won the constructors' title ahead of Ducati.
14.42 Marc Marquez won the Valencia 2019 GP ahead of Quartararo, Miller, Dovizioso, Rins, Vinales, Mir, Valentino Rossi.
-1 Start the last lap of the season!
-2 He starts to administer Marquez, 1 ″ 5 on Quartararo. Objectively boring and not very spectacular race.
– 3 Marquez in command with 1 "7 on Quartararo, 2" on Miller, 3 "on Dovizioso, 4" on Rins, 7 "on Vinales, 10" on Mir, 18 "on Rossi.
-4 Valentino Rossi is eighth at 18 "from Marquez. 9th a good Iannone with Aprilia, 14th Lorenzo (but third of the riders still in the race).
-5 Unleashed Marquez, is exalting in Valencia. 1 ″ 7 on Quartararo.
-5 Nothing to do for Dovizioso, the delay from Miller rises to 1 "1. A bad impression for the official Ducati.
-6 Marquez, with 1 ″ 6 margin on Quartararo, is starting to win the 12th race of the season on 19 Grand Prix! In six others he finished second, retired only in the GP of the Americas. A monster, there is none for anyone.
-6 Honda at the moment firmly in the constructors' classification.
-7 What an effort for Dovizioso: Miller, with an unofficial Ducati, precedes him by 7 tenths.
-7 Valentino Rossi is eighth at 16 "from Marquez. The worst career season for the almost 41-year-old from Tavullia is about to close.
– 8 Quartararo seems to have surrendered, 1 "3 advantage for a relentless Marquez.
-8 Dovizioso 7 tenths behind Miller, but now Rins is very close to Forlì.
-9 FRANCO MORBIDELLI FALLS! What a pity, it was sixth.
-9 DECISIVE RIP! Marquez stretches to 1 "1, Quartararo in the race is not yet ready to beat the Spaniard, unlike what happens in qualifying.
-10 The situation: Marquez on the run with 9 tenths on Quartararo. At 2 ″ 2 Miller the podium is played with Dovizioso and Rins. 6th Morbidelli, heeled by Vinales. Valentino Rossi is ninth, never competing for the top positions.
-10 What an ugly accident between Lecuona and Zarco. The Frenchman was really pardoned: he had fallen and the Spaniard's bike mowed him down! It seems that nothing has been done
-11 He has more Marquez, 9 tenths on Quartararo and 1 "9 on Miller. A 2 ″ 3 Dovizioso, who believes in it for the podium!
-12 Marquez continues to wear out Quartararo, gains another tenth, now 0.8 between the two. Jorge Lorenzo, thanks to the many crashes, entered the points zone, fifteenth.
-12 Valentino Rossi has no more goals in this race. He is ninth at 4 ″ 4 from Mir, who precedes him, and has a 6 ″ gap on Iannone, who follows him.
-13 Lecuona and Zarco also fallen.
-13 For the Ducati the constructors' title moves away more and more after the fall of Petrucci.
-14 Fallen Danilo Petrucci. Today, surpassing Valentino Rossi is not good: the Doctor is back in ninth position.
-14 Dovizioso moves away again from Miller, now 7 tenths between the two.
-14 Always 7 tenths between Marquez and Quartararo. The young French does not give up.
-15 Anonymous also Vinales, always seventh behind Morbidelli.
-15 It's a nightmare race for Valentino Rossi, passed also by Petrucci. Fortunately for the Doctor the season ends today, from Tuesday he will have to work in the Test in view of 2020.
-16 Small fall of Miller, Dovizioso returns 4 tenths from the Australian of Pramac.
-16 Quartararo tries not to give up and remains at 6 tenths from Marquez. He's risking a lot of French.
-17 Marquez is squeezing the Honda to the maximum, 7 tenths ahead of Quartararo. He wants to win the constructors' title practically alone …
-17 Crutchlow fallen, Valentino Rossi immediately resumed his ninth position, but he must be careful of Danilo Petrucci, who heels.
-18 Marquez in the lead with half a second on Quartararo, 7 tenths on Miller and 1 "4 on Dovizioso.
-18 In great difficulty Valentino Rossi, who is attacked and overtaken by Crutchlow. The Doctor is tenth, now far from the positions that count.
-19 Pazzesco Marquez, has already gained half a second on Quartararo in half a lap!
-19 Michele Pirro retires with Ducati due to dizziness.
-19 Marquez had understood that the rhythm imposed by Quartararo was too low, in fact Miller and Dovizioso were returning. The world champion broke the delay.
-20 THAT PASSES OF MARQUEZ ON QUARTARARO! Spanish surprises French inside! The young transalpine tries to respond to the outside, but stays behind!
-20 Quartararo and Marquez are glued, Miller to 1 "3, Dovizioso to 1" 8, Rins to 2 "3, Morbidelli to 2" 9, Vinales to 3 "3, Mir to 4", Rossi to 4 "8. 11th Petrucci, 15th Iannone, 18th Lorenzo.
-21 At the moment Honda and Ducati are on equal points in the constructors' standings, the Japanese team would win the title thanks to the greatest number of seasonal victories.
-21 Dovizioso is always third to half a second from Miller.
-22 Quartararo and Marquez made a void. Miller is third at 1 "4.
-22 Recall that Quartararo has won six podiums in MotoGP so far, but has never won.
-23 Marquez has resumed Quartararo! Now we will see the most awaited melee!
-23 Rossi has lost something from Rins, now he travels in ninth position to 4 tenths from the Spanish that precedes him.
-23 DOVIIIIIIIIII !!! WHO DETACHED OUTAAAAAAAAAAA !!! Dovizioso attacks Rins and passes, the Forlì is fourth, now he will go to Miller's attack!
-24 Miller and Rins in battle for third place, the first two are running away. Vinales has been disappointing so far, for the podium at least in 8 riders.
-24 Marquez is giving everything to return to Quartararo, but it is not easy. 6 tenths the gap between the two.
-25 Rossi is very close to Rins, could attack him soon.
-25 Quartararo has 7 tenths of advantage over Marquez, the Spaniard pays a bad start, but has risen immediately. 3rd Miller, then Rins, Dovizioso and Morbidelli who passed Vinales!
-26 Marquez climbs over Miller and now goes hunting for Quartararo!
-26 Quartararo is in the lead with half a second on Miller, who is corking Marquez. Rossi is always ninth behind Mir, 18th Lorenzo.
-26 Dovizioso ends long in braking and slips into fifth place.
-27 DOVIZIOSOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! That overtaking on Rins, it's third!
-27 Quartararo does not wait even half a turn and Miller passes immediately, the Frenchman is first! Third Rins, then Dovizioso, Marquez, Vinales and Rins!
-27 laps on arrival. Marquez started badly, starting the bike at the start! Miller flies to the front in front of Quartararo! Valentino Rossi is already ninth! Fourth Dovizioso!
14.00 PARTIES! THE MOTOGP VALENCIA 2019 STARTED!
13.59 The pilots are slowly deploying on the starting grid … Tension rises …
13.58 Reconnaissance tour!
13.57 In the meantime we remind you that the first tests with the 2020 bikes will always take place in Valencia on November 19-20! In fact it will be the real beginning of the next season. OA Sport will update you as always in real time.
13.56 There will be 27 laps to go. A triello is looming between Marquez, Quartararo and Vinales: will these three riders also play for the 2020 World Cup?
13.55 Five minutes to go. Jorge Lorenzo very excited for the last race of his life!
13.54 The first laps will be very delicate, the asphalt is cold. We must not force beyond the limit: the falls are around the corner …
13.52 Less than ten minutes left until the start of the race! A three-way challenge for the victory between Marquez, Quartararo and Vinales looms on the card, but beware of Miller who could remain in the leading group at least in the first part of the race. Lighthouses obviously aimed at Valentino Rossi's attempt to recover.
13.49 Today's race represents a very special moment for Jorge Lorenzo, who announced a few days ago the withdrawal at the end of a terrible 2019 with the Honda HRC. The Mallorcan leaves the World Championship after winning five World Championships including three in the premier class.

13.41 In a blue key we expect a comeback for Valentino Rossi, forced to start from the twelfth place on the grid due to a bad qualifying. The "Doctor" has not impressed during the weekend but seems to have found the square as regards the problem of degradation at the rear in the long distance.
13.38 Fabio Quartararo, author of yesterday's sixth pole position in his MotoGP debut year, hunts for his first career success in the premier class after having already collected four seconds and two third places. The Yamaha Petronas Frenchman has already been fighting for victory until the last lap at Misano and in Thailand giving way in both cases to Marquez.
13.35 In the morning warm-up, Marquez signed the fastest time, confirming himself as the favorite to win despite the excellent form of the Yamaha of Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo. Good feedback also for the Ducatis with Petrucci 3rd and Dovizioso 6th, while Rossi was constant but not fast enough (11th). Below is the complete summary of the warm-up:

13.31 Valencia will be decisive for the assignment of the last title still up for grabs, the one reserved for the teams. At the moment the official Ducati (Dovizioso + Petrucci) leads with 432 points but has only two lengths ahead of a Repsol Honda dragged almost exclusively by Marc Marquez.
13.27 Already certain the first and second place in the championship for Marquez and Dovizioso respectively (vice-world champion for the third year in a row), the fight for third place between the Maverick Vinales and Alex Rins is still open. Following is the ranking of the drivers' world championship:
1 Marc MARQUEZ Honda SPA 395
2 Andrea DOVIZIOSO Ducati ITA 256
3 Maverick VIÑALES Yamaha SPA 201
4 Alex RINS Suzuki SPA 194
5 Danilo PETRUCCI Ducati ITA 176
6 Fabio QUARTARARO Yamaha FRA 172
7 Valentino ROSSI Yamaha ITA 166
8 Jack MILLER Ducati AUS 149
9 Cal CRUTCHLOW Honda GBR 133
10 Franco MORBIDELLI Yamaha ITA 115
13.23 Marc Marquez won his eighth world career title in Thailand with four anticipation races as a testimony to an absolute year in which he outclassed all his opponents thanks to a consistency of monstrous performance. 395 points, 11 victories, 6 second places and 10 poles the booty collected so far by Marquez in 2019.
13.19 After 8 months and 18 stages of challenges around the world it is time for the grand final in Valencia, venue of the fourth round of the season on Spanish soil.

10.18 Thanks for joining us, meeting at 2pm for the race.
10.15 Valentino Rossi will therefore have to come up with a number in the race, where he will start from 12th position. It is announced a very uncertain battle for the victory between Marquez, Quartararo and Vinales.
10.13: Marquez gives an essay of his qualities on the race pace with 159 thousandths on Vinales, 309 on Petrucci. Dovizioso 6th at 0 ″ 471. Valentino Rossi does not go beyond 11th place.

10.00: Following the order of the times:

9.53: First times in this warm-up: Miller takes the lead with the time of 1´32 ″ 976 with a pair of soft, to precede Rossi of 172 thousandths (soft / hard) and Rins of 0 ″ 185.
9.50: 20 'will be very interesting to check the balance on the track.

9.49: 1 ′ at the start of this important practice session to define the structures for the race.
9.47: There is a fairly difficult race on the podium for Italy with Andrea Dovizioso sixth on the grid but appeared less consistent than the last outings in terms of pace, while Valentino Rossi will be called to a furious comeback from the fourth row due to a bad qualification to hope to confirm in the top5 after the encouraging fourth place in Malaysia.

9.44: A well-deserved world championship podium but still to be certified in the last act of Valencia, given that compatriot Alex Rins can still undermine him, accusing a 7-point gap not impossible to fill.
9.41: The former Suzuki rider did not shine as on other occasions in qualifying picking up a fourth place behind Jack Miller's Ducati Pramac, but in the race he will certainly be the protagonist in light of the step highlighted in the free practice and a state of enviable form that allowed him to reassemble in the second part of the season up to the third position in the general classification of the World Championship.

9.39: We will see if the Cervera phenomenon will prevail on the pole-man Quartararo and on the official Yamaha of Maverick Vinales, fresh from the Sepang triumph.
9.36: The eight-time world champion of the Honda, second on the grid and endowed with a very constant rhythm even in the long distance, wants to finish off a record year in which he can break down the barrier (just an 11th place) of the 400 points in the World Cup by winning in front of your audience.

9.33: Quartararo will go hunting for the much sought-after first class victory but to do so he will have to defeat Marc Marquez, in great shape on the pass on the "Ricardo Tormo" circuit in Valencia.
The final qualifying session of the year did not disappoint! 🙌

9.31: Even with regards to Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci the gap is still considerable and it will not be easy to remedy.
9.28: Who, on the other hand, does not have these problems is Marc Marquez, able to travel with an impossible step for everyone, with only Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo who can try to get closer. Also with regards to Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci the gap is still considerable.
9.26: Who will have to make the most of this warm-up is, without a doubt, Valentino Rossi. The Yamaha rider will start from the 12th place on the grid and finished FP4 yesterday in 11th position, proving he still doesn't have a satisfactory pace.
9.24: We will see how the protagonists will behave, with a track that should offer particularly low temperatures, so there is the risk of running a not very indicative round, given that at 2.00 pm the Grand Prix will take place with a decidedly less rigid climate.
Tomorrow the riders will line up on the grid for 19th time this year 👊

14.30 Marc Marquez is the big favorite for pole position after what he showed in FP4 but Fabio Quartararo dominated the other three free practice sessions and should be taken into consideration. Maverick Vinales the third wheel, best time in FP4 half an hour ago.

14.02 Valentino Rossi eleventh at 1,078 but be careful because the Doctor did 19 laps on the same tire without ever stopping in the pits, so he simulated the race without thinking about the fast lap.
14.01 Andrea Dovizioso seventh at 0.901, eight thousandths behind Morbidelli, Petrucci tenth at 1.034.
14.01 MAVERICK VINALES SPRING! Best time in 1: 30.484 with media-hard! He beat Marc Marquez by 0.251. Third place for Quartararo at 0.379, then Miller, Rins and Mir.
14.00 CHESS FLAG.
13.58 At the moment no one is improving. The turn was important to understand the tires to use in the race and so it was: media will be used at the front and hard at the rear, except for improbable changes of ideas.
13.57 The last three minutes of the FP4, Valentino Rossi continues undaunted: he practically simulated an entire race with 18 laps active. Dovizioso is fast in the second and third sectors but does not improve in the fourth and remains seventh.
13.56 Fabio Quartararo moves into third place at 0.218 from Marquez. Attention to Dovizioso and Petrucci who have an orange helmet at the third intermediate. Valentino Rossi on his sixteenth consecutive lap!
13.56 Fabio Quartararo moves into third place at 0.218 from Marquez. Attention to Dovizioso and Petrucci who have an orange helmet at the third intermediate. Valentino Rossi on his sixteenth consecutive lap!
13.55 FALL OF MARQUEZ! The World Champion slips to the ground in the second intermediate, his turn ends here and at the moment he is first.
13.54 Fabio Quartaro beats with a medium-hard shot: fourth place at 0.279 from Marquez, the Frenchman begins his ascent. Dovizioso is ninth at 0.678 in front of Petrucci and Valentino Rossi. Vinales is now back in the pits.
13.52 Maverick Vinales moves into second place with media-soft, he is at 0.159 from Marquez. He too has not returned yet, having already completed 12 laps.
13.52 Valentino Rossi is doing a race simulation! Already 14 laps, he is not in the pits. The Doctor does not care about the time attack, he is eleventh at 0.827.
13.51 Great fastest laps of Johann Mir (fifth at 0.510) and Cal Crutchlow (eighth at 0.681).
13.50 Meanwhile, the choice of tires for the race seems to have been made: hard at the rear, medium at the front. The average at the rear is now discarded, Quartararo teaches.
13.49 Danilo Petrucci returns to the track and climbs to seventh position at 0.818 from Marquez. On the track also Miller and Rins, Valentino Rossi continues to run undaunted! Marquez get out now.
13.48 Valentino Rossi liked it because he has already ringed eleven laps and has not yet stopped, he has a constant pace on 1: 31.6 and can really have his say. Andrea Dovizioso is sixth in front of Rossi but he doesn't have a great step. Morbidelli excellent fifth, Miller continues to amaze with the Ducati Pramac.
13.47 Marc Marquez was really spatial in the first quarter of an hour, very fast on the dry lap and constantly improving during the ten day. At the moment the Spaniard seems unreachable, Quartararo has done a job with the middle pair but it was not satisfactory as it is tenth to one second.

14.05 Impressive balance of the FP1, with the first 5 pilots enclosed in two tenths (including Vinales and Morbidelli). The track is fairly simple and produces little selection.
14.02 Low morning temperatures forced the pilots to slip a lot. Will this also be the case on Tuesday and Wednesday tests?

13.45 25 minutes at the start of the shift. The pilots will try to pull themselves into the top 10 for tomorrow, even if the weather throughout the weekend should offer the sun.
13.42 Once again it was Fabio Quartararo who printed the best time in Valencia's FP1. The Frenchman continues the hunt for his first seasonal success and the Spanish occasion could be more than ever tempting

Hello and welcome back to LIVE LIVE of the free practice 1 of the Valencia GP, the last round of the 2019 MotoGP World Championship. On the "Ricardo Tormo" circuit the teams and drivers will work hard to find the best set-up on the bikes, in view of tomorrow's qualifying and the Sunday race.
Marc Marquez wants to lengthen its winning streak. The eight-time world champion is determined to close with a bang, updated his data: 11 victories and 17 seasonal podiums. Extending the discussion, just mention the 81 GPs won in total, the 133 occasions in the top-3 and the 90 pole-positions. Really scary numbers. The main opponents come from home Yamaha, or Spanish Maverick Vinales and the French Fabio Quartararo. The Iberian has returned to engrave in perfect "Top Gun" style on the Sepang circuit (Malaysia). A royal victory for the Iberian, able to dominate the M1 like no one and to impose itself in authoritative ways. The objective, therefore, is to replicate and close in third position in the championship, blunting possible attacks by the compatriot Alex Rins (Suzuki), seven points distant. Linked to the fate of the three diapason team there is also Valentino Rossi. Months of contradictions and suffering for the nine times world champion who hopes to close a vintage in the best way, for so many reasons, to forget. The seventh place in the overall ranking, at 229 points from Marquez, speaks volumes about the season with the funeral contours for the Tavullia centaur.
Looking for a good result too Andrea Dovizioso, first of the humans in the general classification. The 139 lengths from the top say so much about the difficulties of the Forlì, this year, in comparison with the Honda champion. The critical points of the cornering speed are the usual ones and, often, "Dovi" and the same Danilo Petrucci found themselves driving on the eggs, as they say. Finding solutions is essential.
