Below is an interview with Pietro Paciello, CEO and Chief Analyst of Pro Markets Sagl, Asset Management Company, to which we asked some questions about the situation in Piazza Affari and the strategies to follow for various securities.

The Ftse Mib continues to surprise with a non-stop rise that sees it on new year highs. How sustainable is this climb?

The question that many have asked themselves is precisely the question whether the rise was sustainable or not and it was the mistake that so many made because it was undoubtedly wrong not to have yielded in this trend.

Undoubtedly we are in the presence of an exaggerated upward trend, apparently too tight, but in fact the stock markets, including Piazza Affari, always rise and never correct.

This brings some back to the "trend is yoru friend" concept, therefore to the need to sometimes abandon certain subjective interpretations and simply look at the graphs.

The latter always call long and the current one is one of the most beautiful and profound rises experienced in recent years.
Such a violent dynamic also requires a revision of the traditional canons of analysis, because if we look at short charts we cannot find decent references to hypothesize where this trend will lead.

If, on the contrary, we move on to longer temporal dynamics, the graph I propose today is on a weekly basis, so each candle represents a market week.
