New positive conclusion today for the European Stock Exchanges that have further extended their pace, while showing a less vivacity than the two previous sessions.

The Cac40 and the Ftse100 gained 0.39% and 0.25% respectively, while the Dax30 was content with a fractional increase of 0.09%.

Ftse Mib: still a rise, but watch out for strong resistance now

Positive also Piazza Affari that today has strung together the fourth consecutive session in progress, with the Ftse Mib stopped at 23,364 points, up 0.23%, after having scored in the intraday a maximum of 23.436 and a minimum of 23.294 points.

The blue chip index continues to update the highs of the year, but there are some signs that could suggest a possible pause before further climbs.

First and foremost, the Ftse Mib has now approached an important resistance, represented by the area of 23,500 that could in the first instance curb the ambitions of market growth.

Secondly, it should be noted that today the index has closed trading almost at the same values as the opening and when this happens it is usually a sign of market uncertainty.

Not to be forgotten, therefore, the hypothesis that in the very short term we can witness a consolidation pause before further extensions.

Confirmations in this regard will come from the failure to violate the area 23.450 / 23.500, a prelude to a retracement towards the 23.200 / 23.150 points before and then in the direction of the 23.000 / 22.950 points, where the gap-up left open yesterday will be closed.

From these values the Ftse Mib could start up again, but if this were not the case then it would be necessary to take into account larger folds towards 22.750 points before and then in the direction of area 22.500.
