Official dealerships point the finger at production rates of FCA. According to authorized dealers in fact, Fiat Chrysler would be assembling and delivering too many cars, higher than the request and the sales possibilities.

FCA has patented a new in-line six-cylinder

To reveal this background, a survey by Bloomberg, which collected the testimonies of four dealerships and their owners. FCA would initiate a massive action of sales bank, a practice implemented by the brands according to which retailers are forced to take more units than those that represent the actual needs.

According to estimates, there would be more than 40,000 cars more than what was ordered by dealers. Meanwhile, the Italian-American group is a wall, denying having started this strategy and arguing instead that it has developed a new technique that would anticipate market needs, thus aligning production. And according to the data produced by FCA, this new methodology would have immediately brought tangible results given that in the last four months only 1,000 cars would have been in inventory, with no pending orders.
