Factory release the last front engine Corvette – Mondo Auto

A phrase, the one we quote, that goes well with the news that the last Chevrolet Corvette with front engine in history has been released from the factory in these days, the last car of a race that has marked the history of the motoring world and is ready to make room for a new Corvette, less American and less muscle car but more sporty and European, to central engine.

The last of the "real" Corvettes left the factory on Thursday, November 14 and, as if to remind you that there will never be another like you, it is endowed with a seven-speed manual gearbox (on the new C8 the manual option will not be available). Equipped with red interiors and painted black, the event was photographed and published on Chevrolet's Twitter profile.

As possible read from Tweet, the car in question had been auctioned even before it was produced and the proceeds from the auction (the good figure of 2.7 million dollars) will be donated for the construction of "smart" homes dedicated to American war veterans.
