The designer Brent Walter succeeded in a truly remarkable creative recycling company: has transformed an old Volkswagen Beetle into two mini cars.

What to do with an old unused Volkswagen beetle? Only a brilliant designer like Brent Walter, a native of Huntington (Indiana, United States), could devise the Volkspods, a pair of mini bikes where you can see the iconic curves of the car from which they are made, and therefore have a shape that makes them at the same time vintage and stylish.

In practice, Walter used the beetle's fenders, cutting and joining the front and the rear together so that, together, they magically transformed into the body of the minimoto.

The Volkspods are equipped with a large headlight that makes them look a bit like a cyclops on wheels. The large handlebar and seat resemble those of bicycles, while the VW logo decorated on the front of each minimoto recalls their noble origins.

The motorcycles have a 79 cc engine and thanks to the birch green and pastel blue paint, the original colors of the VW Beetle, their retro style is even more accentuated.

Below you can see these little scooters "speeding".
