Credito Valtellinese

Creval flared up in the morning after the Credit Agricole CFO did not rule out M&A transactions in Italy. The analysts view.

Outside the Ftse Mib basket, today the attention has been attracted by Credito Valtellinese that after a slightly positive start has become the protagonist of a soaring rise, mostly back.

The title, after closing yesterday's session with a rally of over 4%, today reached a top of € 0.0739 in the intraday, with an increase of around 4.5%.

From the maximum, however, there was a retracement and in the last few minutes Creval came to 0.0715 euros, with a rise of 1.13% and almost 40 million shares traded, already well over the average of the last 30 days equal to about 30 million pieces.

The declarations made during a conference by the Credit Agricole CFO inflated Creval's quotes this morning.

The manager did not rule out that the French institute could consider M&A transactions, especially in Italy, Poland and asset management, specifying that the French bank does not want to deal with NPLs.

Equita SIM analysts recall that in July 2018 Credit Agricole acquired 5% of Creval and these statements could increase the speculative appeal on the stock.

The Milanese SIM in the note released today shows that after the sale of 800 million euros of NPLs planned for the first part of 2020, the Creval NPE Ratio should fall to 7%.

Pending news, analysts maintain a positive view on the stock, with a "buy" recommendation and a target price of € 0.08.
