The shock investigation on cleaning on board
Ryanair it will also be the most famous company in Europe but in terms of cleaning on board it leaves much to be desired. This is the result of the survey carried out by the magazine Which? Travel, which defined Ryanair, the dirtiest company in the world. The magazine carried out a survey in which 8,000 British travelers took part, focusing on 40 airlines with whom they had traveled. The results were not exciting as only 42% positively assessed cleanliness in general but Ryanair was the worst ever. 24% of passengers, in fact, declared that cleaning on board is poor.
Do the companies really cut costs on cleaning the cabins?
At this point an editor of the magazine carried out a sort of experiment traveling with Ryanair several times to examine the cleaning on board. The journalist brought with him a device with ultraviolet light and has thus noticed that the tables were greasy, the headrests were dirty and the windowsills dusty, things that with the naked eye were not easily perceptible. As Rory Boland of writes Which? Travel "it is unacceptable that some airlines are cutting costs on cleaning the cabins. If you're flying with Ryanair, a biohazard suit might be more appropriate. "
WizzAir, Vueling and Iberia also scored very low, but Ryanair was the worst ever. Much better, on the other hand, British Airways, Air New Zealand, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific Swiss, which have achieved very high scores on cleanliness.
