Geneva-based specialist in cybersecurity and the Internet of Things (IoT) Wisekey announces Friday a turnover of 18.7 million over the first 9 months of the year, based on provisional data not yet audited . Last year, over the same period, sales reached 37.6 million.
The group expects to expect a positive net result for the year, in the extension of $ 21.8 million (about the same amount in francs) earned in the first half. This expected positive result is mainly due to the sale, announced in January, of its security certificate activities for SSL / TLS PKI websites and applications, which generated 31.1 million.
Revenue after nine months is in line with sales after six months, which had not exceeded $ 12.5 million after the 16.6 million in the first half of 2018.
The group also announced $ 19.2 million of liquidities at the end of 2019. As at June 30, they amounted to $ 23.2 million and to $ 9.8 million at the end of December 2018.
Wisekey also filed a new confidential registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as part of its Wall Street listing project. In August, the company announced it would target a Nasdaq listing by December, via American Depositary Shares (ADS), or replicas of the listed shares in Switzerland.
